Best Review on NcStar Pistol Accessory Adapter MAD1911
So I ordered this mount for my Taurus 1911 depsite the terrible reviews I read. After securing the mount to my pistol I found that this thing is rock solid. I literally tried to pry this thing off as hard as I could and it wouldn't budge. Some people on here said it scratched up their slide, I can see how they scratched it because they tried to slide it on from the front of the slide to the trigger guard where it mounts, the trick is, is to rotate it up onto the slide while your holding it as close to the position it will stay after its mounted. I dont think it was designed to be slid all the way from the front to the trigger guard. The mount for the trigger guard is shaped like sort of the wedge so it really cranks down tight and theres also a set screw to keep it there. I gave it five stars due to the price and because theres a copy of it listed for twice as much, also its %100 metal. If you have a non tactical 1911 but want to make it one then order this. I know everyones guns are slightly different but it fits my 1911 perfectly. Have fun shooting. I will post pictures.

BalasHapusNcStar 1911 Pistol Accessory Rail Adapter (MAD1911), this was about the same price as the Wilson Combat but worked with out drilling into your lower receiver of you 1911. I'm going to put this on another .45 I've got and use the Wilson on my Kimber. Works great and the price is right.

BalasHapusThe quality on this product is great. It withstands the recoil of the .45 and doesn't come loose. Most reviews on this item say other-wise, but if you set the rail up right it will be great for making your 1911 more tactical.
