Best Review on GB JG Tactical Airsoft Rifle
Before I bought this gun I've just been using cheap spring-powered pistols and the like during airsoft wars with friends. Deciding I should treat myself, I shopped around a bit until I came across this AEG AK. Getting this gun was like striking gold, and I easily have the best weapon out of all the people I play with.
The gun is built out of mostly metal, with this tough plastic used for the front grip/rails and the handle. It is incredibly robust. Hop-up adjustment is located just under the moveable breech. There are four rails all located near the foregrip, with two large ones on the top and bottom and two on the sides. Battery is in the stock.
Performance-wise, this gun is mean. With .12 ammo it has a decent spread, but if you load it with some .2 bbs it can nail anything with precision under 50 yards. A winding key can be used on the clip and comes in very handy. Battery charge can last for around two dozen full clips of ammo, and despite the fact that this thing burns through its 600-round clip quite fast, its got enough juice to easily last you the whole day. I have no way of figuring out the FPS myself, but I estimate it should easily be around the 400-450 range. You can definitely feel it when you get hit with this gun.
I don't know how well this gun would hold up to the more expensive AEGs out there, but for the price compared to how well this thing performs, I would say that this is a superb entry-level gun. Its devastating for backyard wars with friends, and it will hold its own for serious competition. I have yet to discover any flaw with this gun (some people have mentioned after a while the selector switch can get loose; I've had this gun for two months and the switch is still sturdy). All-and-all, if you want a good airsoft gun in the $100 price range, you will not go wrong with this gun.
Heres the catch though... I can either get the 105 dollar Jing Gong G608 Airsoft Electric Gun G36c AEG WITH a reflex sight some targets, a grip AND an extra mag or i can go with the 124 dollar GB AK47 JG AK Tactical Airsoft AEG Rifle and get JUST get a extra mag and some targets for it. Which one would be the better buy...? Im having a difficult time deciding between the two. I would post some links but it wont let me since im only level 1. There on amazon.
