Read First Before Buy Nebo 5569 ProTec High Powered Firearm
I receiver the order quickly and it was the item I ordered. It fit well and looks good, however the set screw was stripped from the dealer. No tension was achievable, the hex head screw just rotated in the hole. It did thread out and back in but wouldn't hold tension on the barrel. I have submitted an email to the seller and waiting a response. I will update this review upon the completion of the transaction. I think a metal insert with threads would be a better set up, but for the money I can't complain too much. FOLLOW UP: I sent an email about the set screw and without further conversation the product was replaced. You can buy from this vendor with confidence. Outstanding service and they stood behind the product with no hassles whatsoever! Just a great experience all the way around.

BalasHapusThis Nebo proTec light fits perfectly on my Glock19! The light is very Bright and has 2 settings, first on is spot light, second on is strobe. It comes with only one battery. I haven't taken it to the range yet but feels very well made.

Super quick to install or remove, constructed of Aerospace grade aluminum and with a one handed operational system for on and off and switching from solid light to strobe.
It is tactically superior to it's previous cousins and in my opinion is the new
"Benchmark" for all tactical night vision uses.
I literally tried everything out there regarding "rail lights". There are some other good ones. None belong in the same ballpark with this one.

This isn't designed for intense field conditions, but attached to my XD on my night stand it's a fantastic tool. Great for checking out things that go "bump" in the night. Very bright. I wouldn't use this on a carry weapon; it is lightweight, fits snugly, and doesn't rattle around when firing the weapon. I put about 500 rounds downrange with this light attached and had no issues.
BalasHapusI own three of these and couldn't be more pleased. One goes on my Springfield XDM .40, one on my AK47 and the other I have set up on my Marlin .22 for coons. The beam that this little power pack produces is amazing. I have seen lights for 3 times the price that don't perform as well. Took a feral hog at 70 yards with the AK and several coons at the feeders with the Marlin. The spring loaded latch makes changing the light between weapons a snap but for the price, I got one for each weapon. Best decision I ever made on a hunting product. Thanks NEBO.
BalasHapusIve tried several now, NC star, AIMPOINT and this one NEBO and I have to say that this one is the brightest and its also the only one that offers a strobe function, Im not sure what everyone is saying about the bezel being plastic or aluminum, either way i guarantee you if i smash you in the forehead with it, the damage will be exactly the same be it aluminum or hard plastic. The build is super sturdy and the on/off switch is the best in the group with the AIMPOINT still being second, but the brightness of this one is SUBSTANTIALLY brighter than the rest. Very happy and would reccomend as the best weapon light under $50.
BalasHapusPros: This is a great light for the money, fits on my XD45 nicely but will not fit my XDM Compact 9MM, seems the compact rail is a little wider than the XD45. I did tested it out at night and both the strobe and steady light give off a nice bright light. I would recommend this product to anyone.
BalasHapusCons: The Technical Details state that Two CR123A batteries are included and I expected one to be installed in the light as one was packaged in the back of the package. When I opened the package there was only one battery there. I contacted the supplier and Amazon and received a note back saying that it was a typo and thanked me for bringing it to there attention.
All in all for the price the light is made well and performs well too.
I prefer this light mount over the $99 streamlight one because of the slender profile. This is not only brighter but is more slender because it only uses one battery as opposed to the streamlight that is fatter and uses (2) batteries.
BalasHapusSince I'm using this on a 9mm there isn't a whole lot of jarring going on when you fire, so I haven't had an issues with the light malfunctioning.
