Schmeisser MP44 AEG Airsoft guns

I picked this gun up at a local retail store, so I can't comment on the sellers. However, the performance report is valid, as it is the same gun

First off, Aesthetics.

This gun LOOKS like it will blast you to oblivion. The gun is FULL and i mean, FULL metal with a wood stock. Not a piece of plastic except for the adjustable sight. This gun is 1:1 scale and weighs around 11.37 pounds, very close to the real deal. The gun itself feels excellent when holding it. Most of the weight is concentrated on the left arm, as thats where most of the metal is. Despite the size and weight, if you are a full sized man, this is no problem whatsoever. The wood stock is solid, and is where the battery is stored. On a side note, the gun is very narrow and the wood is a lighter stain. The charging handle makes a very nice "CLACK" sound when pulled back, also very intimidating to your foes.

Overall, totally awe-inspiring and menacing.

Performance.

This gun kicks like a mule. With .25 gram BB's, I ripped through both ends of a can, and you just get the feeling this thing will rip you a new one. The FPS seems to be in the higher 300's with a .20 gram, but I don't have a chronograph so its a rough estimation. However, this WILL hit you HARD, so be careful. The ROF is around 800ish, but I can't really tell due to a lack of a chronograph as mentioned earlier. (Chronographs are expensive you know! least the good ones...)

The gun is accurate by an AEG's standards, the hop up compartment is located on the right side of the gun, and is the standard wheel adjustment. The battery fits in the stock, but not in the traditional sense. The stock is held to the body by a metal pin, you need to remove this to get at the battery storage compartment. Its awkard, and the stock wobbles slightly, but there is no other place one can realisticly fit a battery. It uses a 8.4 volt stick barrery, just a quick tip.

Now, a summary:

The Good:
-its a friggin' MP44, this thing will put the fear of god into your opponents
-you will stand out from the sea of M16 knockoffs
-accurately scaled and weighted, feels like the real thing
-Sights are easy to adjust, as is the hop up
-Accurate
-pretty good ROF of around 750 to 800
-mag cap of 430 is always fun
-Only affordable MP44 in its class
-the weight, its a hefty fella (could be good or bad, but IMO, its good)
-hits the target like a brick, and has a good range (just be sure to use good BB's, and .25 grams would work best IMO)

The Bad:
-stock wobbles slightly due to the way the battery fits, minor gripe, it still feels solid
-sling is cheap, buy a reproduction K98 sling, it should fit

The Ugly:
-um....nothing really comes to mind

Notes:
-not good for backyard brawls or CQB, its too high-powered.
-this thing WILL intimidate other players like nothing else, so be prepared for people to be wary of you in airsoft wars
