Best Review on BSA Laser Sight With MTS

PURPOSE OF USE
I purchased this battle belt as an entry level option for tactical and sport shooting (run and guns, outside shooting, etc). I was looking to get a system that would hold my holster, pistol mag pouches, and a dump bag or med kit.

FIRST LOOK
After receiving this in the mail, I was pretty impressed with the quality. The NcStar battle belt comes with both the actual snap belt and the molle 'harness,' which was a bonus compared to other similar battle belt systems that make you buy the inner belt seperately. The battle belt is 600D tactical nylon (not mentioned in the description) and more than beefy enough for what I need.

The inside padding has fine mesh for breath-ability, and is stuffed on the inside with what I would call a dense foam. The belt has five rings for H-Harness attachment to your plate carrier, but I was unable to test that feature out as my current plate carrier order is backordered.

There are two rows (x6 hooks) of molle strips on the sides and three rows (x4 hooks) of molle strips on the back of the battle belt. They are held into place with Z or 'zigzag' stitching. The spacing between each molle hook is pretty consistent, although there are some small variations.

The molle harness has slits underneath the sides if you have a drop holster that needs a belt attachment. (rare with cheaper battle belts)

FIT
The inner belt is adjustable to a variety of hip sizes. I wear 31 waist jeans, so I'm on the skinnier side of most people. I had to tighten the fit by loosening the fold-over velcro strap on both sides of the belt and re-adjusting until it felt snug on my hips. When moving from standing to prone position and back again, the belt tends to ride up. A plate carrier would eliminate most of this, but if you don't have one of those you might need to jimmy rig something that ties this to your pants or thread your regular belt through the paracord in the back.

PROS
Overall, the cost to quality ratio is outstanding. The belt fits everything I need, including 2 double condor pistol mag pouches, a holster, and my dump pouch in the back, with room to spare if you wanted to add a flashlight, multitool or phone pouch.

I have a lot of coyote tan products from different companies, but you wouldn't be able to tell the difference with them all added onto the belt.

If you ever break the heavy plastic snap-on buckle (which could happen), you could easily replace it. The belt can be unstrapped and you could remove the broken buckle and put in a metal military side release buckle (or whatever works best).

CONS
The stitching on this belt is not the best in the world. There are areas with frayed threading already, and the belt could use more heavy duty double stitching (The inner belt lacks any double stitching, and the edges of the liner for the molle harness could use more work).

You could break your belt buckle since it's plastic (heavy plastic).

LAST WORD...
You will not find another battle belt of this quality at this price point. With the inner belt, the H harness hooks, the slits in the bottom for drop holsters, and the 600D nylon, you would be well served to buy this if you were a recreational or run and gun shooter looking for more carry options. I can't speak for military, but if you need more molle space outside of your plate carrier and want something cost effective that fits into your system, give this a shot.
