Amazing for the price

Best Review on Flip Front Rear Back Sight

Flip Front Rear Back Sight

These look and function great! I was very pleased with the quality, especially for the price. The only nit I've found so far is that the tower on the rear sight does not lock up perfectly perpendicular to the base. It is very minor and does not really affect the sight picture but I might file the base a little to allow it to be absolutely vertical. I'm not detracting any stars for this because I've seen what appear to be almost EXACTLY the same sights from Yankee Hill Machine for almost 5 TIMES as much! I paid $40 from Amazon and Midway USA lists the YHM sights for $184.00! Wilson Combat has about the same sight for 267.00! YHM and Wilson MIGHT be better quality but I bet not $145.00 to $227.00 dollars better! I bet ALL these sights are made in China and just have their logos etched on. Save some bucks and get them from Amazon!

  1. I've always wondered how the something like the flip up sights on a scar or an hk417 and the irons on the carrying handle of an M16 or an AR-15 are lined up in spite of the face that the M16s are much higher.

  2. I have an Ar 15 with front iron sights and flip down rear iron sights. Problem is when I put optics on it lines straigh up with the irons making them useless not to mention in the way. Is there any way around this while maintaining accuracy

  4. I am referring to the stock one on the new Auto Ordnance M1 Carbines, it's like a flip up and flip down sight.

  5. i am buying flip up sights to go on a flat top rail system, but im not sure if all sights are aligned the same or if i need to buy a matching front and rear sight. what im asking is if, for example, i buy a magpul rear sight, and a d-boys front sight, will they align correctly and still give me an accurate shot? thank you.

  6. The m16 has a two position flip down rear aperture sight with "close" and "far" openings. What is the size of these apertures? How wide is the front sight post? How far up is it? And to what moa are the m16s sights considered accurate at 300m targets?

  7. I mean anything! Back up sights, fake suppresors, lights, whatever! This will be my show off carbine but i'd like to not spend a crap load of money. Help me make this carbine look badass!

  8. I like the factory front sight and plan on taking my carry handle off that has my rear sight in it. I then plan to use a red dot and would like a flip up rear, I don't mind viewing the front sight threw my red dot so that wont be a problem.
