This 3 AR mag desert camo pouch works just fine on 30 round mags, they fit well, and are secured in place by the snap tabs. The mag pouch has drainage holes, and the material is heavily stiched to withstand another war in N korea or Syria. The exterior MOLLE straps will allow this pouch to be layeredd with a pistol mag, or some grenade pouches on the exterior panel. It is made in USA by a defense contractor so it meets military specification, even if your only going to use it will shooting 6 mm plastic bb's from and electric airsoft rifle. But since real ammo is so rare these days, you may have to fantasize about shouting a real 5.56 black rifle. The desert camo will work even the ACU, once your low crawling through the concrete jungles of your local airsoft center. This came in new condition, sand or camel ticks in the pocket. The new in package desert canteen pouches also make for a good empty mag holder or dump pouch.

BalasHapusThis is worth well more than the $7 I payed. It's tough material, and if you're not dressing up for a fashion show, who cares what the camo pattern is. I think it will make a good addition to the INSIDE of a go bag, once secured for easy access.
BalasHapusIf you need a magazine carrier this is it. The pouch came in faster than promised and is better quality than I expected. This is the same quality as pouches 2 to 3 times the price, this was under $8.00. !!

Military grade molle gear, nothing out there better than that. I've picked up a few various molle accessories over the years and nothing compares to this. The material is definately heavy duty. It feels much thicker and heavier compared to big name commercial brands (Blackhawk, Condor, etc.). Currently in the service now, and when I found this on Amazon, I knew exactly how good of a deal it was. I've abused countless pounds of this gear over and over again, and I'm still using it to this day. A lot of the "tactical" gear found online can't even keep together after getting completely wet, but this has endured the rain, dust, and mud. All after being bought as 'used'. The closest brand I've found quality-wise is 5.11 but compare the prices and you'll see exactly why I giving this product a strong five stars.
BalasHapusI purchase this to attach to my vest so I can store AK-47 mags. The AK47 mags I have don't fit into these pouches, I'm using the Eastern European 30 round steel mags with a flat back (most have a ridge). I can get one to fit and close shut, but not the other two. This is real molly and overall excellent value, just didn't work for what I intended it to, but I'll keep it to store other items. I'm sure it will fit the 10 round post-ban mags that will come out soon.

BalasHapusthis simple and inexpensive molle mag pouch was what i was looking exactly when building a chest rig.
BalasHapusthe material is usgi surplus, sturdy, and looks to be pretty tough.
the molle straps seem a little off centered slightly, but this is not a huge issue at all.
The best part of this is that this mag pouch is compatible with the following mags:
- Tapco AR mags
- AK surplus steel mags (havent tried my AK tapco mags yet)
- Magpul P-Mags
- Thermold AR mags
This was of importance to me because i wanted to be able to swap platforms on my chest rig from my AK to AR without
using loud velcro held pouches and such.
They go easy in and easy out. by far the best 5-6$ i have ever spent on a molle pouch.
One review said that the buttons did not go over a P-Mag, but i do not recall me having this issue at the range.
An easy fix for that is to remove the button tabs and buy some bungee cord and you can fabricate an open top, bungee held system for quite cheap.
What i did was tuck the tabs into the pouch and was still able to extract and replace my mags in and out easily.
When i did reload drills everything went smoothly. However, i have not yet done reload drills with AK mags.

BalasHapuswill have to make some adjustment because my magpul mags have ranger plates on them and the pouches will not close properly, I would recommend to others
