Best Review on Plano Pillared Single Scoped Case
The UTG Master Sniper rocks! The plastic on the stock is sturdy stuff, and the barrel, trigger, safety, rails, strap hooks, and bi-pod are high-quality metal. Pulling the bolt is a little difficult but is nothing unusual; it's fun to cock! Putting in the mags (they are pretty small but strong) can be a little challenging at first but soon gets easy. There is a grip texture on the handle as well as on one spot below the barrel where you can hold the gun. The bi-pod mounts easily, has some swivel, and is extendable. The hop-up is on the side of the gun by the barrel and is easy to adjust. There are two small cons to this gun: 1, the strap attachment piece is built on only one side of the stock (the left), for right handed people. I'm left handed, but I can still manage by looping the strap under the gun and around it. If you can attach the strap correctly, it ain't going nowhere (it's built like a guitar strap; there are no hooks). 2. The paint job is a little "cheesy" but it gets the job done. Given the choice again I might order the green version. Maybe.
If you shoot this gun without a scope, one thing you will need to note is that you must aim a considerable distance below the target to hit it.
It also came with a speed loader and a cleaning rod. The speed loader is pretty good as far as speed loaders go; there is no extension tip required to feed BBS in the mags. It's simple to do. The cleaning rod is rather flimsy but I suppose it does it's job.
The additional pieces for the butt of the gun are relatively easy to attach; just take out two screws, put in the pieces, and screw em back in. It adds up to about 2 inches of additional length.
I ordered it from Airgun Depot. It came a little slow but it was shipped in 2 boxes securely.
I recommend that you get this gun if you want a fast, sturdy weapon. My friends even said they liked this gun over the more expensive UTG l96 that my brother owns. Overall, I a very happy with my purchase.

For $20 this is a great case for storing a rifle. I bought a Remington pellet-rifle with scope. Fits great, does the job. I would not use it to take an expensive rifle on a hunting trip, but what I wanted it for (storing in the closet) perfect! It also has holes to lock it if needed. Pleanty of extra space for ammo and cleaning tools. Once again great product for $20!!

BalasHapusMuch sturdier than others offered for more $ locally. Crush resistant. Fits shotgun, shells, and extra barrel without problem.
BalasHapusThe Case was Super Cheap (Price) compared to Local cases i found in the stores.
BalasHapusI was not sure how well it was made, but after getting it, I noticed it was shipped with packagig that kept the item secure and the actual item itself was beyond expectations.
This case even has 4 points to lock the case in case you travel...
Highly Recommended
For the price, you can't beat the protection you get. Price wise it beats a soft padded case and even other hard-shell cases out there. I won't lie, there's better out there, but c'mon. I've had no sliding or foam concern issues and it protects my AR or Remington 870 Shotgun just fine for vehicle transportation to the field or range. I don't know that I would use it for air travel though. At that point you're traveling with precious cargo and need to dish out accordingly to make sure it survives the baggage handlers. Once when I was in a storage bind I even managed to stuff both the 870 and AR (a little bulgy), and not recommended, but it worked :) ..I'm buying one more.
BalasHapusFor the price you can't go wrong. It's not super sturdy but will still keep your rifle protected. My Ruger 10/22 fits in this case with my 3-9x40 Scope and Bipod attached!
