Best Review on NcStar Reflex Different Reticles D4S
This sight mounted easily on my Ruger Mark II with a Weigand mount. It took 50 rounds to sight in because you really have to turn the dial a lot to adjust it. There weren't any minute adjustments until it was basically already sighted in and then you can make single clicks. I dialed it in even more on my second shooting session and now it's incredibly accurate. It's useful for bullseye shooting as well as speed shooting and it's a heck of a lot of fun. I have only used the sight indoors and in that situation the reticles are very bright. In fact, I use the lowest setting, which is #1. My wife prefers the second lowest setting but I can't imagine going any brighter than that for indoor use. My favorite reticle is the Eotech-style "donut" sight (a dot within a circle). The reticles all appear crisp and clear and the sight holds zero between the single dot and the donut. However, I don't think it holds zero when you switch to the crosshairs. More importantly though, it does hold zero between shooting sessions. I've put about 300 rounds through my gun and the sight is still mounted solidly and zeroed in but keep in mind that I'm shooting a rimfire. This sight is easily worth the $28 I paid but certainly this sight doesn't compare to an Eotech or a C-More which I've also used. I would recommend it for .22 caliber or lower only. It's a great value for the cost but one needs to keep in mind it's limitations. It boggles my mind that someone would put a sight like this on a shotgun or an AR.

Baought this sight for my Mossberg 500 for $[...] and was well worth it. I have routinley seen this exact make and model sell for $[...] or more at other websites. If the dot appears to be a bit on the dim side after a short while go buy a high quality battery. It is a fact of life that the batteries that ship with products tend to sit on the shelf for a long time or are low quality batteries. Most of the of the time companys supply them for convienence not as a selling point. With that said I had no problem zeroing in the sight the adjuments did the job and the adjument lock screws work ok. I had to tighten them down a little tighter then I prefer to, but They worked. The brightness controlls are decent. Personally I prefer a ittle finer controll over brightness, but it did the job well. The only improvment I would like to see is an auto shut off. I don't see how in other reviews there are complaints about it getting knocked out of adjustment with any thing larger then a .22 I use this on my shotgun with 2 3/4 00 buck shells and the sights stay in alingment just fine. If I fire rapid fire it will ever so slightly get knocked out of alignment, but then again so do I. :) Over all this is a great sight at a great price. I don't understand how others can sell the same exact basic red dot sight for 2x or more the price and stay in business.
BalasHapusThis is an amazing product. It is full metal, except for the brightness selection knob. The lens coating is very cool, and the sights come in perfect clarity. The item comes with a 90 day Warranty from AIM, the manufacturer. It comes with two Allen wrenches, the sight, a cleaning cloth, instructions, and warranty information. It mounts very easily with the Allen wrench. It looks very sleek and mounts sturdily on my M14's RIS. Great for Airsoft, and with the different sights it is useful for long range and CQB. I would not recommend the dot because it is very small. I personally like the dot/perpendicular line sight. Great product, and fully worth the $35 I paid.
BalasHapusI left my scope in place and put the NcStar on my front pic rail in front of the scope.
BalasHapusI then adjusted the reddot squarely in the crosshairs of the scope and removed the scope
to find I was nearly perfectly alligned and needed only 2 shots to hit a large nailhead
at 30 yards.
This is a perfect quick acusition sight and my 10 .22 is now a good selfdefence weapon
with my wolf Match Extra subsonic quiet ammo.
Best sight for the money, $33.00 delivered. You can not lose with this price and accuracy
5 Star review
I purchased this site for one of my AR projects. I was a little leary of the quality vs cost issue, but was pleasantly surprised in the end. The multiple siting reticules in red or green are crisp and very bright when set on the highest intensity level. Easily acquired in the brightest sunlight. Mounts easily to any picatinny rail and is easily sited in. Quick target acquisition and a crystal clear lens. Still on target after 300 rounds of .223, so if you have any doubts about the robustness of this site, fear not.
BalasHapusSo, to recap:
Easy to mount and site in, stays on target after many rounds, multiple reticules in red or green and excellent bang for the buck. (Pun intended)
the order came in on time, which was great because i was going to need to use the next day. the sight was VERY easy to mount and adjust. it only took about a minute to set it up and zero it in! this is definitely a worth while investment!
BalasHapusif your deciding between a few sights or scopes i would personally go for this one!
very nice steardy little sight.for those who dont know what the screw driver is for, there are two
BalasHapuslittle holes on the opposite side of the adjustment screw holes.there locking screws.
for those of you that keep saying that it wont stay set.
I just received one of these, paid $40 for it. I was very impressed with the package as a whole. It came with a rubber lens cover, instructions, a warranty card, and a cloth for cleaning the lens. I easily mounted this unit to a browning buckmark. It looks and feels great. Switching between the reticles does not change the zero and there are no issues with parallax even at close distances. It feels very rugged. For the money, you really cannot go wrong with one of these, especially on a low recoil gun like the .22. The best part is the manufacturer warranty of a full 3 years. This calms my questions about the long term durability of such an inexpensive scope. I will recommend this to anyone.

BalasHapusI had used this on my Mossberg 590, and logged more than 500 rounds so far. And, so far no issues with the product. This is very inexpensive red dot sight that offers four (4) red colored reticles: crosshairs, ring crosshairs, dot, ring dot.
BalasHapusIt has a 7-levels of brightness: bright enough for extreme daylight or low enough for nighttime.
I will be getting another one for my AR.
Realizing this is an inexpensive Red Dot sight it has performed very well for what I wanted it to do. This sight was put on a ruger Mk III 22/45 and use it for Plinking. It has performed flawlessly and holds true very well, I mean very well since it gets carried on my ATV. One point that needs to be made is that if you change the reticle it will not hold true so I have made a choice of which reticle I want to use and leave it there. One of the most impressive points is how well it works in low light conditions. Again for the money it has done very well
