I put this on my Century Arms L1A1 Fal sporter with Imbel receiver and it fit really well. The only thing is that I had to remove the front harness latch to install this but I dont use a harness in this rifle anyway. It comes with 9 rubber covers as others have said and there are more available elsewhere in the internet to buy if you need them. I put 3 on the lower side and 3 on left and right sides and its enought for a big hand like mine. If you put any rubber cover on the upper rail you deserve to be slapped because it defies the purpose of having a picatiny rail . At 40 USD is half the price of others I saw in the internet and they are all the same most of them manufactured by Aim Sports.I paired it with the Aim sports picatiny scope mount and now it looks really good. Its a really firm and tight fit. I would buy it again without thinking. Im going to put a scope on this rifle and see how it does at the range. Ill post pictures later .

first what will surprise you is that there's two rectangular holes on the top base of this mount that's hidden from view from the shadow on the photograph of this mount. It's made of hard plastic. when my bicycle runs over the lines on the sidewalk that occurs every six feet, my camera vibrates (not good if your shooting video). When my bike is parked then the mount is perfect for still photos. I recommed this as long as you're not shooting videos, if you are then you might have to spend two or three times more for a sturdier mount that's more solid and made of metal. Since plastic expands and contracts unlike metal, you'll have to adjust the clamp tightness when weather changes...
BalasHapusI use this to mount a pocket video camera to my mountain bike. It is very stable and secure. The ball head (which some competing products do not have) makes it very easy to level the camera on the mount. The mount is bolted to my handlebars, which ads to the security and stability, but also makes it a real hassle to remove, so I probably will leave it attached permanently.
BalasHapusIt works great on 2005 Harley Dyna Low rider! Low it dragon ride looks great!! on handle bars does not move at all a little shake in low gear ....

BalasHapusQuite pleased with both performance and price. I used this with a Canon SD780 in HD video mode on my mountain bike over rough terrain. Very small camera and the mount held it well. Resulting video is much better and more stable than dedicated "sport" cameras I've tried in the past.
BalasHapusI use it on my BMX bike to mount my Contour ROAM. I ride about 5 miles a day and with 2 days of recording I haven't had a problem. So far it works like a champ.
BalasHapus(Update- One year later)
Still working like the day I received it. I uploaded an image of it clamped to my BMX bike.
I don't use it for a camera. I had an old Photon Freedom Fusion headlamp than has the same 1/4-20 mounting thread as a camera. Using that for my bike headlight. Works great. Mount is steady. No problems.
